I am a therapist-in-training who believes that healing begins with honoring the full story you bring into the room—your relationships, culture, and lived experiences. I deeply value my clients’ autonomy and trust what each person chooses to explore in therapy.
My work is rooted in psychodynamic, relational, strengths-based, and arts-based approaches, allowing us to look at both present day concerns and the emotional patterns that are shaped by past experiences. I utilize these to support clients in their understanding of themselves and to encourage overcoming life's hurdles.
I intentionally honor ancestral wisdom, spiritual practices, and religious traditions as powerful tools for meaning-making, resilience, and grounding. Therapy can be a space to explore how faith, spirituality, or cultural rituals intersect with emotional well-being, identity, and relationships.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents, couples and families, and individuals navigating depression, anxiety, anger management, and life transitions. I hold a strong commitment to serving BIPOC and Latinx communities and approach my clinical work through a decolonial lens, as a means to empower my clients.
My work is supervised by Emma Coates, LCSW to ensure the highest quality of care for my clients.
