Payment and Insurance

Lake Park Counseling's mission is to provide quality, affordable, and accessible therapy to our community. We are a mainly Insurance-based practice. However, we accept out of pocket payments at the rates listed below and also offer Sliding Scale rates bease upon your Income. (Rates Updated 12/2025)

INSURANCE

Lake Park Counseling therapists are in-network with the following insurance plans:

Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO
Blue Choice
Aetna PPO*
Cigna PPO
United Health Care PPO
USHIP

*If your Aetna plan is with the Univeristy UCHP system, you must get a referral from your primary care provider in order to see our therapists. We can provide you with information needed to do so.

Out of Network Plans: If you have an insurance plan not listed above, Lake Park Counseling can provide you with a SuperBill statement that you can submit to your insurance for partial out-of-network session reimbursements, depending on your plan.

Please Note: While we will always check your in surance benefits at the start of our work together, it's important to always check with your Individual plan prior to scheduling your first appointment with us, so you are aware of your plan's mental health coverage and any co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible fees.

OUT-OF-POCKET PAYMENTS

Our Full Rates:

Independently Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, PhD):

$250 for diagnostic intake session

$200 for subsequent individual sessions

Provisionally Licensed Therapist, Under Clinical Supervision (LSW, LPC):

$160 for diagnostic intake session

$140 for individual psychotherapy sessions

Masters Level Clinicians:

Between $10 to $75 per session based on Income -- See our Sliding Scale Forms for more info.

REDUCED RATES
