I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, honesty, and feeling truly understood by another person. It’s an honor to help create that space together. Healing is not a solitary experience, and my goal is to walk alongside you through all of life's ups and downs.

My approach centers your voice and experience. I pay close attention to how things like systems, culture, and identity shape a person's life, and I work to make sure therapy feels relevant to you. I understand that traditional talk therapy grew out of a narrow, Western way of understanding people, and I'm committed to questioning and moving beyond those roots so that the care I offer actually fits the person in front of me. 

I believe that the most important element of the work we will do together is in our relationship itself. When it comes to modalities, I draw on parts work, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and psychodynamic practices to develop a therapeutic approach that best supports your needs.

My areas of interest and experience include trauma, PTSD, and dissociation; those who experienced parentification or who may have been burdened with adult responsibilities early in childhood; ADHD and anxiety; and chronic pain or illness. 

To be an effective social worker and therapist, I prioritize my own self-reflection, and I strive to have an openness to growth and change within my own practice and flexibility in my approaches. Throughout my work with each client, I work closely with my clinical supervisor Emma Coate, LCSW, to make sure you are receiving the care you need and deserve.
